Preventive Care

We strongly believe in the power of proactive preventive veterinary care, fostering your pet’s optimal health at all ages and stages of life and working to prevent illness and disease.

An annual wellness appointment that includes a complete physical exam is key to preventive care. This includes: the ears, eyes, mouth, heart, lungs, lymph nodes, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system, joints, skin and coat.

During an annual well pet visit, our team may also:

  • Administer vaccinations

  • Address preventative heartworm and flea treatment needs

  • Discuss protecting your family from zoonotic diseases

  • Offer nutritional and behavioral counseling if needed

We will also let you know promptly if we feel there are any findings of your pet’s exam that require further testing and why. We are committed to clear and open communication throughout the exam and beyond. Rest assured your pet is getting the best preventive care and follow up possible. Should medications be needed, we can typically provide them through our in-house or online pharmacies.

“Love working with Dr. Erica and her team. They always make my pets feel special. I have two cats and a dog and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Great care and very responsive. Also feel that I get a lot of value for the cost.”
